As expected, the event saw record breaking East Coast rider numbers and moto counts of 307 and 299. This was simply a HUGE event and FBN/Hyper riders were in the mix the entire weekend with team riders scoring wins and turning heads.

Our birthday girl, Emily Krickler put on quite a show in MoTown. On day 1 she was sent OVER the first turn in the 31-35 girls cru main event. On day 2 she joined teammate Susie Levan, who made her team debut this weekend, in 36-40 girls cruiser class. They dominated the main event going one and two as Emily took the win.

Spencer Martin continues to make progress on the track in the 13x class. Spence rocked his fresh FLY Carbon helmet and worked his way through quarter finals both days to a strong 2nd in Saturday’s main event.

Anthony White used his KMC gold chain and powered his way through quarter finals both days to an impressive 3rd place finish in 12x on day 1. Anthony’s brother Christopher was out for the Morristown event due to illness.

Up next for the team is the USA BMX Dixieland Nationals in Powder Springs, GA. This will be preceded by a short southern states clinic tour of two to three stops en route to the event.

Factory Hyper Team had 6 riders in DeSoto for the USABMX National. Our riders were looking forward to this event as the track was just rebuilt and always brings in fast riders from all over. While this race in March is not the Teams strongest time of the year it had been awhile since our last Team National. The Team still had 7 Wins and 12 Podiums.

13 Expert Bubba Gonzales gets top billing for this National as he took home Wins in 13-14 Open both days and a big Win in Class on Sunday. Bubba is one of those rare riders who can still Win Nationals right after a birthday.

15 Girl Shealen Reno just refuses to lose and her race on Saturday was great coming from 3rd to 1st for the Win. She took care of business early in the race on Sunday for another Win. Not as exciting but much easier on the Team Manager. There was no Jr. Development Girls Class this weekend. Perhaps all the comp are giving up?

15 Expert Luke Roarty is starting to put some nice Nationals together in this very tough Class. Luke Won both days in Crusier going away and had good finishes in the Mains in Class for dealing with lane 8 both days.

9 Expert Kohl Piluso is one of my favorite riders because for such a young age it's all business at the track. Kohl is getting faster and faster and again was solid in the Mains with a 2nd and 3rd in Class and a 2nd and 3rd in 9-10 Open. The results dont tell the whole story as he is right there with the World #1 kid doing all he can to get around him. Not bad for just turning 9.

7 Expert Pete Choat started off the weekend great with a very nice 2nd in 8 under Crusier then I think someone had a VooDoo doll of him because it was a unclip in his Class Main on Saturday and lets just say Sunday was a day to forget. Pete still is the best racer in that Class and will have many Wins this season.

dR Donny Robinson was at this event looking really good and a better 1st straight from him then I have seen in awhile. dR made it to 1/4 on Saturday and just missed the Final on Sunday with a 5th in the semi. Still not bad when you have 8 racks of the best in the World.
